Use the "My Map" link to find a dive school which is near you or your place you want to dive. If you click on the icon in the map, a popup shows you the name of the school. Click on it and the profile of this school will open with its contact data.


Use the search field in the upper left corner. Enter the word you want to get information about and press enter. A page with all search results will be opened and you can see news, dives, groups of the topic, users and companies who have somthing on their profile containing the word you are searching for.


Use the Extend Network link to invite your friends by sending them an invitation via email. They will get an e-mail containing a special link where they can register theirselfs and get automatically connected to you after registration.


Click the New botton near "My dives" in the left menu and page will be opened where you can enter your dives. Enter a location name in the textfield above the Map and a marker will be shown in this map at the place you have entered. You can move this marker by dragging it and set the correct position. Then you can enter other details to this dive and upload pictures or add the dive base, ship and hotel you where diving at.


As a user you can upload pictures for every dive you entered. As a premium user or company you can also add galerys which are not assigned to a dive.


As a premium member you can publish news on mySeaStar and also send it as newsletter to all your fans/buddies. Go to the My News page, create a new entry with text and a picture. You can preview the entered entry and after you are satisfied with your entry, click on the "offline" link. It switches to "online" and everyone can see your news on your profile, in the My Sonar and if we think its interesting for all we collect it in our global news system. Then it will also be available on the iphone app and is visible on the startpage.


You can read the SeaStar magazines online. On the page you can find an overview of the topics included in this magazine. choose one to read it. Here you can see all distributors of the SeaStar magazine near your place.


The best place to discuss several topics with ther members are groups. You can create a group for a specific topic, invite other people to join the group and discuss with them in different threads. You also can join other groups you a interested in. All these features can be found under the My groups link in the menu.


You can change your profile content under the Change link near the My profile link in the menu. You can set the visibility of your profile content to prevent others from seeing your private data. You can set your position in the map to use the search functionality by location.
